Steve Thew

Steve Thew is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Geelong in Victoria Australia. With
his versatile vocal range and masterful skill on the acoustic guitar, banjo and harmonica;
Steve is a true blue Aussie entertainer, capable of capturing the hearts and minds of his
audience in a way that only a truly humble and seasoned performer can.
Influenced by the likes of James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jackson Brown, Phil
Collins & Slim Dusty, his music —though eclectic— is best described as folk/blues with humour; his original
compositions offering fans a unique insight into a lifetime worth of experiences. As well as his
original music, his extensive collection of cleverly adapted old standards appeal to audiences of
all ages; making Steve a favourite among many local music lovers and visitors to the Geelong
and Bellarine regions.
