With a voice that has been described as ‘rich and tasty, smooth and seductive’, Sarah Collyer is known for twisting cult classic tunes by the likes of Blondie, The Eurythmics, Nick Cave and James Reyne into luscious jazz arrangements. Collyer has been a fixture on the Brisbane music scene for over 10 years and has performance credits throughout Australia, Japan and London. Sarah is skilled in the interpretation of lyrics and melody and gifted with a warm and welcoming stage presence. Songs from her E.P This Way and album Yesterdays Blues, can be heard on radio and in coffee clubs throughout Australia.

One word. PHENOMENAL. Sarah was professional and easy to work with. We hired a 6 piece Jazz band fronted by Sarah for our wedding reception. Yhe music was amazing, all our favourites were played with impeccable timing and style. Our reception was taken to the next level by Sarah Collyer and band. We most highly reccomend and would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat.

Having said that... we're not going to say no to a gorgeous beach/park wedding or event! So we can go completely acoustic if needed :-)
We mainly play Jazz, and Jazzy versions of cool songs - a little bit Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and a little bit Post modern jukebox! Were happy to learn your favourite tunes if we don't already know them.
