Mel Lathouras is quickly becoming known as one of Australia’s finest jazz singers and performers. She performs regularly in her hometown of Brisbane at venues such as the Brisbane Powerhouse, Judith Wright Centre, JMI Live, the Brisbane Jazz Club and Jazz Upstairs. She is a member of the Painted Ladies - a tribute band to the legendary Aboriginal activist and musician Vic Simms - performing with the group at 2015 Womadelaide and at the National Gallery of Victoria in 2016.
