Hype are an upbeat Rock duo that pride themselves on doing songs their way. Using stomp boxes, electric and acoustic guitar and vocals sets these 2 apart from the rest as it’s a big sound and all performed live (There are no backing tracks here!). Having a massive Facebook following of over 40,000 followers and over 38,000 likes, being featured on LADBible and The Daily Mail and packing out venues across Sydney and beyond.
Hype have been performing at weddings, pubs, clubs and corporate functions since early 2007. and are well known for their mash-ups of songs, covering all of the classic rock tunes as well as some pop funk and everything in between.

Hype duo are not your average "Sit in the corner" duo although they do do that style as well if need be. They are more known for their ability to engage a crowed, have people singing along and dancing the night away. This Duo is not to be underestimated having performed at some of the following major events/venues across Australia and Internationally.

We can provide a professional PA Complete with Subs suitable for up to 250 people. We have worked with crowds of well over 1000 although production at these events is an additional cost that the client will need to allow for.
We have performed at small events for only 15 people through to large scale events at stadiums (we have performed at both ALLIANCE Stadium and the SCG (Sydney Cricket Ground) as well as at Randwick and Rosehill Racecourses on a number of occasions.

We are Sydney based although we travel regularly for performances.
