Dr. Soul and the Groovy Humans are a group of talented musicians who have performed around the Perth music scene for a number of years, and who have now joined together to deliver their own interpretation of both mainstream and niche blues and soul classics, in a groove arrangement comprising drums; bass and lead guitar; keyboard; trumpet; baritone, alto and tenor sax; and both male and female vocals. The size of the band's ensemble allows it to deliver the full range of vocals and instruments used to create enduring hits from artists dating from Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin through to modern numbers from Amy Winehouse and the Teskey Brothers.
