The CSC Jazz Ensemble will add a touch of class to any event. Lead by vocalist Jacqueline, the Jazz ensemble plays traditional Jazz tunes with a fresh approach and delicate touch to create the perfect atmosphere for your cocktail party, Sunday rendezvous or corporate function. The ensemble can take numerous forms usually as a quartet with Vocals or as a Guitar Trio (Guitar, Double Bass and Drums), but we can tailor our line-up to suit your needs.

Having individually performed on the international stage - including tours of China and Europe - and performing alongside some of Australia’s most renowned Jazz musicians, these experienced and passionate Jazz musicians have come together to form Collins Street Collective, to perform in some of Melbourne’s most iconic Jazz venues.
The band offer two main line-up options; a quartet with vocals or an instrumental trio:
Collins Street Collective featuring Jacqueline Wong
Led by vocalist Jacqueline Wong, Collins Street Collective continue the tradition of the Jazz Standard, performing their favourite tunes and paying homage to the jazz legends that inspire them. Jacqueline has performed extensively within Victoria, including iconic Melbourne venues Uptown Jazz Café, Dizzy’s Jazz Club and the Grampians Jazz Festival. Jacqueline also travelled to France in 2007 to play the Montreux and Poretta Jazz festivals. A seasoned vocalist, Jacqueline draws from inspiration from legends both old and new, including Ella Fitzgerald, Jamie Cullum and Melody Gardot.

Collins Street Collective instrumental trio
The Collins Street Collective perform in the classic guitar trio format, taking inspiration from legends such as Jim Hall and Wes Montgomery alongside modern masters such as Gilad Hekselman and Peter Bernstein. The trio’s speciality is the Jazz standard, approaching well-known tunes with a deep understanding of the tradition and an ever-growing repertoire.

Our line-up is flexible, but we have two main line-up that we typically perform in:
A vocal quartet: Vocals, Guitar, Double Bass, Drums
An instrumental trio:
Guitar, Vocals and Double Bass
However if you're looking for something different, maybe you want an instrumental duo, just Guitar and Bass, or maybe you'd like to add a Saxophone player, please get in touch and we should be able to accommodate your request.
We have Public Liability insurance, as is standard as live performers.
